What to Expect at Finishing the Task Ministries

What to Expect

WE LOOK FORWARD TO MEETING YOU!

Welcome to Finishing the Task Ministries. We have put together some information here that tries to briefly answer some of the questions you may have prior to visiting our church for the first time.

ENVIRONMENT

It is important to us that you feel welcome when visiting. We want you to feel relaxed and comfortable yet challenged to live a life dedicated to our Lord. The music at Blessed Hope is contemporary worship and is centered around timeless Biblical themes.

FAMILY FRIENDLY

No matter your family dynamic, you are welcome at Finishing the Task Ministries, and we are excited for you to consider being a part of our church family! Our intent is to serve the whole family. During our worship service we have care for babies and toddlers. Your young children will receive biblical teaching from our group of caring teachers during Sunday morning service in our age-appropriate classrooms.

THE MESSAGE

Pastor Jason is known for his “right off the page” teaching style, never shying away from some of the “harder truths”. He rightly divides the word of truth, providing a balanced approach and revealing “the kindness and severity of God” (Romans 11:22). While our main translation of the bible used at Finishing the Task Ministries is the NASB, Pastor Jason will oftentimes also quote from the ESV, KJV, or the NIV, depending on how accurately a passage compares with the original Greek or Hebrew and the original intent of the passage.

BIBLICAL TEACHING

Here at Finishing the Task Ministries, we place a high priority on the preaching and teaching of God’s Word. The worship service is a time for us to come together as a body to learn, be encouraged, and to be challenged by God’s Word. Opportunities also exist beyond Sunday and Wednesday worship services where members have a chance to share their faith outside the walls of the church and grow, fellowship, or otherwise be a part of a Church family that lives out their faith together.
